VLORE-APOLONIA-DIVJAKE-BERAT

This one-day tour begins in Vlora, with departure in the morning. The first stop is Apollonia, one of Albania's most important ancient cities, where visitors can explore ancient ruins and the archaeological museum. The journey then continues to Divjake National Park, a well-known area for its biodiversity and beautiful natural landscapes, offering visitors a peaceful walk in nature and rare birdwatching opportunities.

After visiting Divjake, the group heads to the historic city of Berat, one of Albania's oldest and best-preserved cities, known as the "City of a Thousand Windows" and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, travelers can visit the famous castle and charming neighborhoods, filled with unique architecture and rich culture.

After a day full of cultural and natural experiences, the tour concludes with the return to Vlora in the evening.

Morning: 

6:30 - Departure from Vlora 

Start the day early with breakfast in Vlora. A quick coffee and a sandwich or pastry will give you energy for the day. 

Depart from Vlora towards Apollonia. The trip takes about 1 hour. 

Morning: 

7:30 - 9:30: Visit to the Apollonia Archaeological Park 

Arrive at Apollonia, one of Albania's most important ancient cities. 

Explore the archaeological site, including the ruins of the ancient theater, temples, and the stoic portico. 

Visit the Church of Saint Mary and the Apollonia museum to learn more about the site's history. 

9:30 - 10:30: Departure to Divjake 

Travel to Divjake-Karavasta National Park. The journey usually takes about 1 hour. 

Midday: 

10:30 - 12:00: Exploration of Divjake-Karavasta National Park 

Take a peaceful walk in the unmatched nature of the park. You can explore wooded areas or visit the Karavasta Lagoon, home to the Dalmatian pelican. 

This is an ideal spot for a short coffee break or refreshing drink. 

12:00 - 13:30: Departure to Berat 

Head towards Berat. This journey takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes, taking you through beautiful landscapes of central Albania. 

Afternoon: 

13:00 - 15:30: Visit to Berat 

Arrive in Berat, famously known as the "City of a Thousand Windows" and a UNESCO World Heritage site. 

Visit the Berat Castle, where you can stroll through medieval alleyways and see small churches and museums. 

Walk through the characteristic neighborhoods of Mangalem and Gorica, and don’t miss the Cathedral of Saint Mary at the National Iconographic Museum "Onufri." 

15:30 - 16:30: Lunch in Berat 

Enjoy a lunch featuring traditional Albanian dishes at a local restaurant in Berat. 

Late Afternoon and Evening: 

16:30 - 18:30: Return to Vlora 

Start the journey back to Vlora. The trip is expected to take around 2 hours. 

This is a good time to reflect on the day and relax in the car. 

18:30: Arrival in Vlora 

Arrive back in Vlora. End the day with a light dinner at one of the city's restaurants, relaxing after a day filled with experiences and beautiful sights.
